CRACK ATTACK: Resurfacing work on the Hardy Park tennis courts gets underway Friday, June 2, 2017. The job is expected to take about two weeks, according to Franky Aguilar, a foreman on the job for American Tennis Courts of Baltimore, Maryland. Aguilar said the long fissures will be repaired and then the surface will get multiple coats of a specialized material. The courts will be painted, blue inside the lines and green outside, Aguilar said. According to its website, the company has “over a half-century of experience in the construction, maintenance and renovation of running tracks, tennis, basketball, and multi-purpose courts.” Two potholes at the southeast end of the courts were patched earlier by another crew.
